She started her career singing “Al Aita al Marsaouia’/ ‘the call’ or ‘the cry’ to attack French protectorate with powerful lyrics.

She delighted people with her elegant hairstyles, colourful caftans and genuis art.

She modernised Moroccan Chaabi music and made generations sweat on the dance floor.
