Power of “Heliotropism” Attitude.

Updated: Aug 7, 2022

“The fear of being wrong prevents many people from seeking the truth”

Simply put, I think leaders who change their minds are brave and confident.

Gone the days when resisting the influence of others makes us great leaders. In some archaic cultures, leaders are viewed as strong and powerful when they are right even when they don’t have all the answers!

It is impossible to learn without being open to the idea that we don’t know everything. We are exposed to new data every single day. There is no way we can make smarter decisions without accepting an alternate viewpoint in the midst of new information.

Of course bouncing from one decision to the next is damaging. Flip Floppers are a nightmare to work for!..But the most courageous leaders are eager to find out the truth in today’s ever-evolving world.

The strongest leaders master what I call the skill of “positive heliotropism”. They grow by following the movement of data and new information.

Stay curious, Stay flexible…And Unstoppable! 💪🏽

XoXo,

Hindy
