I want to dedicate this post to my amazing Amazigh roots.
We are an ethnic group in North Africa, we identify ourselves as 'Imazighen' which means in our Tifinagh language ‘free people’ ⵜⵉⴼⵉⵏⴰⵖ. My tribe comes from the famous Atlas mountains in Centrale Morocco. We have breathtaking views, amazing traditions, female leaders, cowgirls, musicians, jewelry, sustainable rugs….you name it… and if you wonder where the famous Argan oil comes from… Amazigh women used it for centuries before it exceeded the borders of Morocco..
We are also famous for using one of the most earth friendly transportation in the world- Berber donkey or "donkey pooling"...Well, at least no one can blame us for climate change :)

And of course, we love tattoos. We use our skin to tell our story and treasure our memories…
To all Amazigh Women out there.. You are the motor of all the changes that has been taking place in the Moroccan society. Transformational changes always occur when the 'minority' speaks!!
Proud to be a Woman and Amazigh, this combination made me who I am today.....Free & Fearless Butterfly!
Amazigh voices, We are Unstoppable!
