Leadership game is one of my favourite sports. Some of the players are MVPs, others are training hard to join the league !
But there is one special squad lagging far behind….these are leaders suffering from “Leadership Cataracts”!
They play safe with a blind eye…
They simply ignore things they don’t want to see; so they miss the most important part of the game…
They remain oblivious to the fact that other players are facing obstacles…Struggling to establish themselves in the top flight and missing all the chances to make it off the bench until they completely lose integrity…
Leadership blind spots come in all colours and shapes but when it reaches “cataracts” stage; it starts driving people crazy!
Self-awareness is a leader’s best friend...Never too late to regain crystal clear vision!!
We Just need to establish speak up culture…And when we do, everyone will breath a sigh of relief!
