Big Corporations Call for Big Brains!
Hiring smart heads is a common practice. Experts deploy sounding tools and web prints to dig up the brightest candidates- from Google graveyard, Twitter, LinkedIn personality, IQ tests…to extensive interviews and the process is not getting any simpler!
Well…Leaders are being asked to inspire a plethora of grey matter!
Leading a bunch of highly smart learners is no joke if we let our ego be bigger than our brains.. It can be devastating for leaders who expect to be the « smartest » in the room.
I personally witnessed smart leaders feeling unsecured and intimidated before dealing with other highly intelligent people in the room!… They simply fear the other side of the argument because it may reveal their blind spots!
Reality is we are all smart in different ways!
Intelligence is all about acceptance. Learning to accept that we might be wrong…and active listening is the ultimate human intelligence test!
And always remember ‘Comparison leads to depression’. We all have skills and experiences that make us unique…And of course Unstoppable!
