If you want to be a potential protégé and boost your career, simple- find yourself a strong advocate (don’t ask me how 😊). At some point in our career, skills, expertise, wisdom, passion, IQ, EQ…are unfortunately not enough to differentiate. In fact, we are all indispensable unless someone says otherwise behind closed doors.
I keep asking my self the same question: ‘I surely know lot of people in 15 years of service but who really knows me?’
If you are lucky enough to grow in an organization with a ‘women-only network’- be part of it! Sisterhood is a powerful way to navigate and climb the corporate ladder….
….And always look at your top management, see how represented you feel you are…Is there empathy and understanding? If you feel you are no longer sponsored, maybe it is time to make a better use of your talent elsewhere.
Just trust your inner voice. A wise friend once told me ’ when you know, you know’....
